The Holiday Inn Resort Vanuatu Men’s Team captain, Joshua Rasu, recently attended the prestigious Leaders in Sport, Sport Performance Summit in Melbourne, Australia—an exclusive gathering of over 200 high-performance leaders from around the world.
Held at Collingwood FC earlier this month, the summit featured 12 world-class speakers and brought together representatives from over 25 clubs and franchises across 15 different sports. Notably, 65% of attendees were directors or senior leaders, reflecting the event’s elite status in the global sports industry.
The two-day summit provided a unique platform for Rasu to engage with top coaches, athletes, and sports executives in a blended learning environment. Through interactive panels, case studies, and networking sessions, attendees exchanged cutting-edge insights into athlete development, team culture, and the future of sports performance.
Hosted by the Leaders Performance Institute, the event focused on collaboration and innovation, with support from key partners Peak Ai and Teamworks Performance. For Rasu, this experience represents a significant learning opportunity, equipping him with valuable knowledge to elevate cricket in Vanuatu both on and off the field.
Vanuatu Cricket extends its gratitude to the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Leaders in Sport for facilitating Rasu’s participation, further strengthening Vanuatu’s presence on the global sporting stage.
